Armenia, is a nation, and former Soviet republic in the mountainous Caucasus region straddling Asia and Europe. Among the earliest Christian civilizations, it’s defined by religious sites and considered to be one the earliest cradle of civilization in Asia and Europe.
For a nation not too popular on most parts of the world, we wandered around and we’ve gathered first hand experience of everything Armenia. What is there to see?
1. THERE’S TOO MUCH SCENIC VIEWS EVERYWHERE.
I mean, look at that lake. It’s so picturesque that it gives me headache on what filter do I choose for Instagram. Ugh.
2. THE PEOPLE ARE UNDENIABLY FRIENDLY.
Don’t you hate it when everyone wants to be friends with you?
3. THERE ARE LOTS OF HISTORICAL SITES.
Oldest Cathedral in the world? Oldest pair of Shoes in the world? First Christian nation? History is boring me to death.
4. ALMOST EVERYTHING IS CHEAP.
This sumptuous meal with 1 liter of Home -made wine for only 20 USD? A bottle of beer for 2 USD? Tax free Branded clothing? I’m choking on how cheap this place is!
5. YOU WON’T FIND ANYTHING INTERESTING IN ARMENIA.
Rich history, lively culture of hundred years tradition and kind hearted locals. I don’t really see anything interesting in Armenia at all!
If I were you, please think twice if you’re planning to have Armenia on your next trip!
